Bringing software technologies together...
..to create mission-critical applications

SOS Projects

SOS has developed software applications for a wide variety of industries. Following is a description of some of our more recent projects:

Visual NutriStat

In production
Visual Nutristat is a nutritional assessment system that tracks a long term care patient's nutritional intake and creates a multi-page, graphical  assessment of the patient's current and recommended feeding. Using a sophisticated "Rules Engine" the system is able to recommend specific products and quantities for each patient. Visual NutriStat was developed for Nutricor, Inc., a division of Provision, Inc. based in Franklin, TN.
PowerClaim In production
PowerClaim is a comprehensive operations management system for long-term care suppliers who engage in third party billing and supply programs. The system gathers and stores patient information and produces automatic monthly orders for suppliers and creates the required documentation for billing Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. PowerClaim was developed for
PHI, Inc., based in Franklin, TN.
Factory Work Order System In production
This system was designed to integrate with the company's accounting system. By importing sales orders, the Factory Work Order System creates and tracks the progress of work orders used to produce custom windows. The system uses the actual dimensions of the window frame to calculate the sizes of each component of the window. It then exports this data to glass-cutting and frame extrusion machines. Factory Work Order System  was developed for
WeatherTamer Window Factory,  Knoxville, TN.
Client Manager In production
The Client Manager system was developed for a local irrigation system company. It stores client information, tracks service activity, and schedules  maintenance tasks. Future plans include integrating with PeachTree Accouning for automated billing. Client Manager  was developed for
Spring Green Irrigation,
Maryville, TN.
Diecast System In production
Originally developed in Japan, SOS made significant modifications to this system which monitors 12 diecast machines used to produce automobile alternator housings. The system gathers data from the machines and produces a variety of production and statistical analysis reports.  Diecast System  was modified for
Nippondenso Tennesee, Inc.,
Maryville, TN.
